I'm planning a sobo thru hike in the fall starting around Sat, Sep 6 and am looking for some guidance on the following:
1. Parking Car (at or near Stateline trailhead). Since I'll be in MT for a week of trail crew on the CDT, I'll be driving there from Ohio then to the trail. I'm hoping to find a place in or near Page, UT to leave my car for the ~2 mos. it will take me to complete the trail. Any ideas?
2. Getting back to somewhere with public transport from the Mexican border, then back to where ever I park. Ideas?
3. Water situation. I know it all depends on the monsoons. I'll be watching the weather and the water report. Are there places where I should consider caching some water?
4. Section Stewards Contact Info. Where can I find this?
5. Heat. Should I plan to wait a little later to start my hike?
