I noticed he's from Broomfield. It was in single digits when I was there last week. While that's unusual, this is still way too late in the year to expect anything but winter conditions on Long's. I hope he found a sheltered place to hole up, but it's been a long time.

Search helicopters found 25-year-old Peter Jeffris' body about 200 feet below the Ledges part of the Keyhole Route, which is located on the park's Longs Peak, officials told 7 News Denver.

As of Friday it is not clear how the University of Colorado graduate died.
