Day Hike in the Santa Monica Mtns
I'm going to be in the Los Angeles area for several days during Christmas week. I've been there several times but never gone hiking. This time, I'm doing some hiking. Already got some stuff on my list in the Griffith Park area, but I'm also planning on spending at least a day in the Santa Monica Mtns. I'll be with my girlfriend, so I'm looking for something that's 6-9 miles, with probably no more than 1500 or so AEG. Anyone here familiar with the area and can recommend something?
