That comic has always fit me, even back when I was 18, 19, 20, etc. New Years was always the day to get up very early, find the San Diego freeways almost empty.

With 3 days left in the year, my incredibly patient wife has agreed to alter her schedule just to give me the chance to hike 15 total miles so I can reach 400 for the year.
I have no time for one long one. I have to night-hike 5 tonight, 5 tomorrow morning, and 5 more on the morning of December 31.
