Weird. Any idea where he was on the trail or which mountain side? Golden Gate Peak is steep, but considered off trail. I WOULD NOT be hiking anything in the Tucson Mountains this time of year, after 10 AM. They look really nice from where I live, but that dark rock must make them extremely hot. The other article appeared to have a picture of the recovery, but I can't tell where that is, and don't know that trail.
