There is a neat spot on the Verde River called Verde Falls.
Most people think you can't hike there this time of year because of the Eagle CLosure.
We found a way in today that was outside of the Eagle CLosure. Check the Trail Log comments for more info. Here's 5 pics of the trip:

No. There's really no legal way there unless you bushwhack. There are two eagle watchers in the vicinity. There are usually a few vehicles on FR 547. We saw a vacant camp at the Chasm Creek TH. But as far as the Wild & Scenic River Corridor and The Falls itself. Only river runners and surprisingly few of those considering the presence of flow levels we haven't seen in many years.
