7AM launch, about an hour from I-17 & New River Road.... Highway 69 to Walker Road 10.6 miles to Poachers Row, then first right (Black Lode Trail). Launch from the MG Lodge, off the deck, putz around the Pickerill Mill, meander along the Hassayampa Creek to Union Trailhead (285).
