I would say depending on the condition of the road.
If it's wet or badly rutted, I'd agree
If it's dry and no bad ruts, I'd say any vehicle with a reasonable amount of clearance.
Before I bought my Samurai and later the Jeep, I had always driven to Rogers Trough with a front-wheel drive vehicle. With a slight bit of care I had no issues. The only time I turned back was a time I was told by someone who had been on the road a few days before that it was fine, only to realize he had a different idea of fine.
RE: A Trans Am at the trailhead...
I have seen similar low-slung vehicles out there at various times myself. It's all about how much care you take and how much abuse you are willing to give your vehicle.
(Yes, even a Prius, very shortly after some thorough road maintenance had been done)
Sounds like it shouldn't be an issues for my rig..Ive been places it shouldn't be...LOL... so sounds good too me... Thanks all
Glad water is Good.... Think ill head straight to the Ranch... Day two upto the Circlestone and Peak... then back and mess around the area... day 3 back to TH and maybe a day trip to Ruins
Some say that he burned quick copies and stored the real paintings. Bob Ward, who accompanied DeGrazia to A.B. has a map to a place he says they BURIED the paintings in his book Ripples of Lost Echo's. Carol Locust was also supposedly on the trip and talks of it in her book DeGrazia: The Rest of the Story....who knows.
As far as Ted, I do appreciate a real anarchist, though - his type formed our country.

He was a militant of sorts and made a bit of an 'opportunity' out of this. I have read that there was a film crew working on a movie nearby in A.J. that he invited down to 'the burning' to take photos. I believe the movie may have been "The Lost Dutchman's Mine Story".
