By 'touring' do you mean thru/section hiking, or a series of day hikes? Your post is pretty short, and doesn't give us much to work in terms of figuring out what exactly you're trying to accomplish.
In May, most of the segments below AZ-87 (Beeline) are going to start getting consistently HOT. I hope you know how well you can hike in the heat, or have a plan to mitigate it.
