Sandstone Spring |
Sandstone Spring, Nevada - Clark County | Spring |
Main spring consists of a small pool at the base of a cliff. Spring pool is fortified with a very small concrete wall and used to be piped to a trough for cattle. Pipes and trough are still in place, but no longer function.
Wash near spring mainly mesquite and catclaw acacia; no rushes, sedges, or other wetland plants. Based on fresh (and not-so-fresh) scat and trails, this is a very popular spring with the resident bighorns. Add Report |
