herb, biennial. up to 18" tall. the leaves and stems are hairy.

Comments
Mostly we stick any fleabane in this generic fleabane listing and don't worry about subclassifications. We're hikers, not botanists. Even botanists can struggle with identifying an artistic photo. The most common fleabane in AZ is probably Spreading Fleabane (Erigeron divergens). There are probably some Aspen Fleabanes. If you can identify the subspecies from the photo, let's talk about moving it.
