They seem really well intact to be over 250 years in age, but I am no shell expert. The nation's first Indian Reservation, Brotherton, was at Indian Mills nearby. They were forced off by 1820, though many left 20 years earlier. I'm not sure which was the worse destination, Wisconsin, or New York.
