Our last stop on this very full day is Giant Springs State Park. It was a beautiful evening.
I have been here many times and whenever I have visitors in town, I try to take them here. Oh, there are now 30 miles of trails around this area... something I didn't know. But I wasn't into hiking back in the 80s as I had my horse then (Tibber McGee).

Giant Springs: One of the largest freshwater springs in the United States, discharging over 156 million gallons of water daily at a constant temperature of 54°F.
The Springs is formed by an opening in a part of the Madison aquifer, a vast aquifer underlying 5 U.S. States and 3 Canadian Provinces!!!
