And here is a zoomed spectacular view of Salamander Glacier which used to be part of Grinnell Glacier. Grinnell Glacier is out of sight to your left. I was up there in 2003. The Grinnell Glacier Trail (Plan C for the day) was closed due to a sow and her two cubs being active in the area. The trail stayed closed most of July and August. Anyway, if you do get the opportunity to get to the Glacier, you should as there is limited time for the trail to be open all the way to the Glacier. I have put up a note to indicate where the Overlook is and the Glacier.
