We finally got to our destination on this second hike of the day: Grinnell Lake. Mount Grinnell is to the right. I've seen Grinnell Lake from above and it's really something. Still the views from here are quite spectacular as well; especially with all the water falling down the hillside. When you hike the Grinnell Glacier trail you are to the right of the waterfalls. As you can see, there is still lots of snow and that's another reason the trail was closed for the last mile. In fact, from what I heard, a hiker fell to his death when he hiked beyond the closed section.
