I added these next two photos since there was a huge 100,000 acre Kenow fire that broke out in mid-Sept and nearly took out the Lodge. It did take out the VC which is just down this road on the left. The fire damage around the town was extensive. This is Mount Crandell and sadly the fire burned up the side of this. See next photo. And here is the link to see more info on this fire.
