after out stay at W Glacier KOA we were off for another busy day including the requisite stop at Hungry Horse Dam. The dam was the third largest and second highest concrete dam in the world at the time of its completion in 1953. The dam's spillway is the highest morning glory structure in the world.

3 1/2 miles across at its broadest. In places, the reservoir is 500 feet deep, and it holds more than 3.5 million acre-feet of water.
