And there were horses and birds. That's Bailey and Elliott, they were in the corral scheduled for the farrier the following day at my cousin Brian's. We walked them from their pasture to the corral.
The middle photos are the ducks that gathered in the little pond created by the leaky watering hose. The Rooster is one of TOO many at Greta's Hen House at the homestead. The dog, Puja is a new purchase by my cousin. We are at Sheep Coulee near the Marias River.

The bottom photos are cormorants on the only tree at the Romain Homestead Reservoir. The other photos are of Western Meadowlarks that sang to me while I hiked in my grandmother's footsteps to the reservoir (it was a spring back in her day). I learned that my father helped construct the dam of this reservoir along with his brother Uncle Bud in the early-mid 50s. It's quite the dam.
