| no partners | | Got back from ID MT ID last nite on Fri, June 11. I worked out this AM and decided to add a walk to pick up the mail. After all, not much hiking was done while I was away. Surprisingly, it was hot but comfortable as I hiked clockwise. A few folks out. Tree trimming pre-monsoon has begun.
WATCH: 114 avg bpm, 127 max all at aerobic level taking 4268 steps with avg cadence of 117 and max 129. Temp was 100.4 with 5% humidity finishing at 8:07PM burning 191 calories.
I posted a few collages from my trip. FYI I did try to pack the cool temps in my suitcase to bring with me but apparently there just wasn't enough room. Another FYI, the Salt Lake Airport is still under construction so at least for Delta's smaller planes, they bus you from the terminal to the plane and vis versa. Also, if you have to go between Gate B and A, prepare for a long walk; but thankfully there are moving ramps and escalators (you go under the tarmacs). I will miss the old airport even though changing terminals involved a lot of walking as well. And there are lines for everything it seems. |

For me, sometimes it's just as much about the journey as the destination.
Oh, and once in awhile, don't forget to look back at the trail you've traveled. |
