HOMESTEAD TOUR: My cousin Kenny and his wife gathered all of these rocks from around the homestead for this fireplace. The mantle is petrified wood from Dead Indian Coulee which runs up to my dad's old place (now my cousin's son's property) and my cousin Brian's place. There is lots of petrified wood through this particular coulee. It is extremely HEAVY and they were quite nervous over the installation as was the installer.
