Blanco and Dot suddenly stopped and were faced south off the trail. A sure sign that they smelled critters. A few seconds later these two Javelina popped up out of the grass probably alerted by the sound of our voices. The dogs gave chase disregarding Lee's yelling at them to stop. The Javelina didn't appear to be in a big hurry to flee and one suddenly turned and started chasing Dot. She quickly ran back towards Lee while Blanco stopped to watch. He finally gave up the chase and the Javelina went back to what they had been doing. It's springtime and romance was in the air.
