This pipe is a little west of the TR 288/42 sign post. I presume that it comes from the Spring.

1) I'm amazed that, long ago, anyone found the 1 foot x 1 foot Spring in the first place. Then, 2) I'm amazed that someone carried steel/iron pipe to this point to plumb the Spring. And 3), I'm amazed that someone took the time to dig into the hard Arizona clay (and rocks) to bury this pipe.
