about 2 1/2 miles in...the Belly River makes an appearance.
The Belly River drains the northeast section of the Park. and then flows northeast out of the park towards the Oldman River in Alberta. There is an Oldman Lake over in the Two Medicine Valley... I wonder if they're related.
As it is glacier fed, this little river rips up the streambed during spring run-off. In spite of the abundant insect presence during the summer, the river's cold rushing waters do not provide the best habitat. Fishing is reported to be fair, although it is good in its diversity of species offerings.
