My daughter who is home from Baghdad/Ft Hood wanted to go on a hike so I took the day off work and we headed to the Superstitions. We hiked up the Peralta trail to Fremont Saddle, then down the Cave trail to the intersection with the Bluff Springs trail. We then hiked north on Bluff Springs to Barks Creek, down the creek bed to the Dutchman, and back to the Peralta trailhead. Very nice day with a breeze and some clouds. Saw a couple climbers west of the Bluff Springs trail just before Barks Creek(see pic). We went a ways into the mine until we saw bats flying and the air got heavy. BTW Peralta Road was being graded today so it is in good shape.
