| no partners | | Follow the directions listed on this page to the trailhead, they are right on the money. At the east end of the parking area, take the left fork that leads to the silver metal gate. You can open this by slipping the metal noose over the pole. Make sure to secure it and be respectful on the property. The hike has a nice gradual grade, about halfway up, the trail gets rather rocky so make sure those with you have proper, stable footwear. You may also want to use the bug spray or lotion, as the blooming spring season was attracting some serious bug parties. This is a peaceful hike, placed outside of the urban crowds...the viewing of plant and animal wild life is abundant here. Let the geckos guide you.... At the top, there is some fun and easy rock climbing with wonderful valley views! |
