| no partners | | Very beautiful hike in Patagonia, South America. Views were spectacular of Monte Fitz Roy. Arrived at the trail end at the lake below Monte Fitz Roy with the sun directly above Monte Fitz Roy. Camped about one mile from the trail end at Poincenot. Hiked from the campground to the trailhead the following morning for some sunrise photos, but the clouds blocked the majority of Monte Fitz Roy.
From my estimates the top of Monte Fitz Roy is 6000 feet above the lake shown in the photos. |
