| no partners | | Somewhat eventful trip. Stopped for a quick break/rest between the Tatum and 56th St. entrances and a pair of ducks flew in from nowhere apparently intent on dive-bombing me. They missed me by about 20 feet and landed right next to me.
Seems they like people (I'm betting they get fed bread quite a bit) so I grabbed my point and shoot and was able to snag a few pics. Nice couple of mallards must've been out on a date. I couldn't get closer than about 5 feet, but that was plenty to get a great look at the pair. After staring me down and auditioning to take over the Aflac gig, they started quacking progressively louder and finally took off to the west.
