| no partners | | | Wandering about on Comb Ridge. Went cross-country towards the rim, hit a canyon, and wandered up the canyon. Hit a side canyon and decided to head up it. I was able to climb out the upper end of the canyon. There was a large alcove spanning both drainages, so I walked along the alcove looking for prehistoric remnants, but didn't find any. Took a break in the shade, then made my way down to a faint trail that turned out to be a cow path. Thought about heading back up towards the rim of the Comb, but decided to head back in order to get back to Page on time. Wish I would have left Page earlier, so I could have hiked some more! |
