| no partners | | | This was an impromptu hike that started along the General Hitchcock road because the Rose Canyon campground was closed for the winter. Snow began falling lightly as I set off for Rose Canyon. I saw no other people the entire time and enjoyed a peaceful walk around the lake to the Rose Canyon damn. I ventured down to where the lakes run off joins Sycamore Canyon. This portion was a moderate canyoneering sort of trek. Not to much wildlife other than birds out in the cold afternoon. |
