| no partners | | | Reviewing some photos from this trip. Overnight between the two peaks and did Rabbit as a day hike. Demanding hiking,dry camping, and great views as a reward. Was super hazy so many pics did not turn out. I was in a lot better shape then. I remember tho after I got down to the parking area some rangers were there and a plane was slowly circling overhead as they had gotton a distress call regarding a compound ankle fracture of a hiker up in that area. I had passed a couple very early as I was descending and they were the only ones I saw, from Arizona. Don't know what happened but that would be a helo extraction for sure. |
