| no partners | | Third annual Legends of Superior Trails Eco-Tourism Festival was a great success!
Started out with a pancake breakfast, then there were a number of different lectures to choose from on Superior's history, geology, wildlife, and the Arizona Trail.
Had a delicious BBQ lunch catered by Los Hermanos and a speaker from the Boyce Thompson Arboretum, then it was time to assemble for the hikes.
There were 8 different hikes to choose from, and I led a fun group on a hike on the Arizona Trail south of Picketpost TH. It was a gorgeous day and there were many hikers, bikers, and horseback riders out on the trail.
After the hikes, the Crossing Over Paranormal Society had a talk and walk around Superior, which was well attended.
Such a great day for an event and I'm so happy to see the Trail Days celebration has really taken off in popularity! |
