| partners | | Next stop for the day. This was an exploratory trip for a future hike.
There is no sign at the trailhead and it does not start where indicated on the Topo maps.
(See my GPS Track). I placed a small Cairn by the road.
This trail is no longer maintained by PNF.... but is in better shape that quite a few maintained trails.
The Shady Dells ruins were interesting and unusual construction. They had actually plastered the walls. The well out front had water.
I was able to verify the continuation of the trail is nowhere near where indicated on the Topo maps.
Probably my favorite overall hike on the day. |
