| no partners | | wanted to check out Rosewood Point and Rosewood Point North before the sheep closure, since i did not get up on those two summits last time i was up to the saddle.
picked a pretty good route up and out of the drainage to the saddle
once you find your way up the little cliff band it is pretty smooth sailing to the summits. the second summit (Rosewood North) really has the primo views over pima canyon!
on the way back i was dismayed to see Johnny Amoleseed had visited while i was on the summits, since there appeared to be 3 times the amount of shindaggers as on the way up. i bled my way down on a more aggressive line on the bottom half of drainage, which was not as good as the way up. smooth sailing from there.
glad to finally check these off the list. very nice |
