Horseshoe & Hackberry With the weather warming up, I tried to park as close to the ruins as possible. I took a 4x4 road that looked like I could get close to one of the ruins. The forest road had a gate about 1/2 mile from where I wanted to park. We parked here and started our hike. We hiked to the Hackberry site to the East. We then hiked to the Horseshoe site, continued to the normal parking lot, then back to the truck. With the weather above 90F and climbing, I decided to skip the Holly Ruins hike. I then drove to the welcome center. I hung out there for 30 minutes waiting to see if the rain was coming our way. I decided to skip the 2 mile Square tower hike here. Damn, Ill have to come back
