| no partners | | | Hiked this trail with one of my professors and a few classmates. It was the perfect easygoing trail. We parked at the Maverik on W 66 and walked through the neighborhood to the trail. It's really cool if you like trains because the first part is walking through a tunnel under the tracks. It gets pretty steep for a little bit to get on top of the mesa, but after that it's just a flat loop. Great views of Flagstaff, and early in the morning there weren't many people there. Also, we found a tree swing not far off the trail so keep an eye out. Fun easy hike. |
