this was plan B on my drive out day. was planning on Baden-Powell but the angeles crest highway is still closed.

this turned out to be a very pleasant choice. largely shaded, closed off fire road to the summit offering awesome views of the high peaks of the san gabriels.

didn't see anybody. flies were bad in the shade.
