| no partners | | We started this hike at noon and the temps were perfect for the whole hike. The wildflowers were sooooo much better than the last time Tanya and I were here. The brittlebush were amazing. I was surprised to find the poppies still very alive and colorful. There were lots of lupine, scorpion weed and fiddlenecks. The creosote were blooming too! It is so nice to hike a trail lined w/ wildflowers. There was this one bush w/ red berries (see pic) that I only saw one of and I'm not sure what it was but it was very pretty. About 3/4 into the hike a swarm of bees flew overhead...that was a little unnerving.
