Beautiful day in the San Jacinto Mountains. Temperature was 35-40 degrees cooler than Palm Springs. Lots of squirrels and Blue Birds. Jeffrey Pines are huge. No water found along nature trail area. Area is also in a drought though not as brown as I have seen in the AZ Mountains. Lift ticket can double as meal ticket at restaurant on top.
