I thought I would get an early start(6:00).When I got to the gate it said opens at 9:00. I didn't get a red rock pass because it does not cover West Fork. If I had a red rock pass I could of parked in a spot right down the road(2 cars would fit) and hiked in. I drove a mile north to a camp ground and paid eight bucks for a camp ground day pass. Then I hiked back to West Fork and the ..........
gate was open(7:00). When I left I talked to the guy in the booth and he said he gets there at 9:00
but the guy that cleans the bathroom gets there around 7-7:30 and he leaves the gate open when he's done. It was a nice hike anyway.I didn't see anybody going in and about 15-20 going out.
