It was a pleasure to watch the joy in their faces as they discovered how amazing canyoning is. The realized they were being able to access a special place that not many people were able to go.
I enjoyed this canyon a lot because the water flow was more and the canyon seemed more beautiful. I have a feel that part of it also was watching the couple discover canyoning.
The rental shoes the couple were given were hilarious to me. Especially when the guide put big rubberbands around them to hold them securely in place.
The first rappel was the most beautiful. The flow was such that at the end was a steep slide. The guide had it so that you’d come off the rope and slide before hitting the water. We landed in a large pool which we swam across. From there we had more slides, jumps, and rappels.
We then hiked out in our ‘swimsuits’ which for me was a bra and panty! Haha.
After the canyon, I drove across France to the Perigord where I had amazing food and wine! |
