| no partners | | | Got to my campout spot and decided to take a sunset stroll up the canyon near camp. The canyon isn't named on any map, but Swazy Tanks are nearby so I began calling my camp Swazy Camp and the canyon Swazy Canyon. There's an old mining or exploration road that goes up the canyon for a little ways, which I followed. Once it ended at an old campsite I went off across the slickrock. The light was unreal on the cliffs and in the canyon. I made my way back down to camp and made dinner. I had no idea how much things were changing in the world outside of my little hideaway at the time. |
