| no partners | | Since I have a ton of pics posting this separate. I altered my driving route and was glad I did. If you have the time as it does take longer I would recommend this for the scenery aspect, light traffic when I did it, and nice car camping choices if you are going to take your time going up.
From Flag north, I went thru Kayenta and Monument Valley, Blanding, Bluff, Moab, I -70 ( where I drove for some time with no one in front of or behind me) to the excellent Co-139. I highly recommend this little road, very scenic high desert with some touron opportunities off the road. Then thru Dinosaur and Flaming Gorge to Rock Springs Wyo.
Some exciting driving due to storms. I enjoy avoiding I-17 if at all possible and the CF that is driving thru Salt Lake City interstate system. I will likely use this route again. |
