I didn't have the energy to stay out all night, so I did a morning hike. I barely had the energy for that, but I have a job to do.

I found three snakes, all small. The dback seemed a little dehydrated. I gave it some water. I found the very skinny coachwhip. I thought it was dead until it started to strike at me. It didn't even try to slither away. I gave it some water. I don't think it drank enough but it did stop drinking. Perhaps it might need to eat also. I hope it makes it.
