| no partners | | I drove into Leadville to meet up with some friends of mine. By this time, I was really starting to feel the effects of dehydration. I was 94.675% sure I didn't have Covid, but thought it was respectful to keep my distance. I decided to head toward Turquoise Lake. It was less than a 10 minute drive from the rented house. I set up camp, near the lake, and nursed my hiking hangover. **Edit** Im guessing the 10,000ft elevation of Leadville and Turquoise Lake didnt help the headache.
That night temps dropped down into the 30s. Perfect camping weather. That morning the pup and I where feeling amazing. We checked out the lake, then went to go meet back up with some friends. We had a long day of offroad trails ahead of us. We kept the hiking to a minimum. |
