| no partners | | | Underestimated the heat that day. Barely made back up the switchbacks with just enough water. Started with full 3liter camelpak. Absolutely no shade at switchback. Pack a drySak and a pair of water shoes to cross the river. Was above waist high. I’m 5’10”. Watch out for bears. Keep extra water in car. |
