Approached via the northern Kanabownits entrance. The road was in the worst shape I've ever driven it. Lots of scratchy overhanging vegetation, massive washouts and sometimes very dusty. I had dinner out at the point and checked in with phone service before my Sagittarius Ridge hike. I had it to myself and nobody camped at the designated site that night.
