JoAnn and I went to Minot to visit our granddaughter Destinee. Today we checked out some of the local places including the Zoo and the Scandinavian Heritage Center. I thought the Zoo was pretty good. For a small town, especially! Our zoo could sure use the shade trees! The center was interesting as well. Later in the month they have a big festival that sometimes double the population of the town. :o We checked out some of the local food as well. Good to see Destinee and a good start to our visit!
