By the time we approached and geared up to climb, the wall was getting shaded. This made for a better send sesh, since it was quite warm in the sun today. We didn't encounter or see any other climbers, just a moderate number of hikers (parking lot never more than three quarters full). We wandered up to the trail's highpoint before leaving since I'd never been past the Cactus Flower / Y-Crack turnoff. Maybe I'll actually do the whole trail someday, but probably not.
