Really nice easy trail to the ruin, then we kept looking at the canyon below it and started to look for a spot to drop into it. We were not disappointed, nice little flow with ice in some shaded sections. Rudy really enjoyed this segment. Of course he was wet and sandy when we returned to my vehicle.
Since it drains into the San Juan River, I would be interested in hiking up canyon looking for pools that would hold fish. This segment of the river is known for high quality trout waters. |
