| no partners | | | Not a bad beginner hike. Don't recommend going in middle of summer. This 6 mile round trip hike can get pretty hot in summer, but luckily it begins and ends at a swimming area on the lake. This hike has some beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and lake. The bad about this hike is at the beginning of the trail. It is a high traffic area and therefore has a bit of litter and vandalism for the first .5 mile or so. after that, trash is not an issue and as you go up evalation the views will make you forget the beginning of the trial. Do this trail before lunch then go to the restaurant at the docks and eat a refreshing meal. |
